It is an amazing place in the desert. The crater owes its name to the almost perfect shape of the circle. There is quite a lot of desert flora and the views are incredible in addition to the size of the place. It is easily accessible to climb and there are almost no steep slopes to hike on a trail with local data. I recommend you go in the months when the temperature is not so high October - May, and bring a hat and binoculars to observe the landscape from afar.

Called El Elegante, for its almost perfect circumference, more than a kilometer in diameter. Undoubtedly a good reason to visit it within the Natiral Reserve of the Pinacate and Great Desert of Altar. Visitors respect the place and do not damage it.
