Great rental experience for Mexico. They were very quick to get me my car, and even had it started and cooling down while I did the paperwork. Quick to check the car back in Ave gave us a ride to the terminal. Even helped with the bags! SixT is the best!

I only give this place 3 stars because upon return of the vehicle, the lady at the front desk tried to rip us off by claiming that our vehicle's tank was not full. We had to personally take the car to the gas station accompanied with one of their attendants to prove that the tank was full as we had told them. This felt like they were attempting to rip us off and we got no excuse from the lady at the desk who kept claiming she was in the right. If it wasnt for the poor service we received upon return and being treated like thieves, this place would have gotten 5 stars. We will not be using Sixt again.

Unbelievable service, everywhere states they work 24/7 but they don’t, now at 1am after bunch of trying to call different numbers with no luck going to the Uber and will overpay a lot of money

When I picked up the car I already got the feeling that I had to cover myself for everything. The local employee was not happy that I did not want to take out more expensive insurance. I indicated that this was not necessary for me because I am well insured on my credit card. The woman indicated that she was depositing 25,000 pesos, more than € 1,000. I have never paid more than € 400 for the deposit with other companies, not even for more luxurious cars. In the end, Sist had reserved 20,000 pesos, about $ 830 on my credit card. The car was checked extremely well when it was returned. Fortunately, I had filmed and photographed everything. As a result, the attempt to sue me for damages soon stopped. Then they tried to charge me extra because the tank would not be filled enough. I also had proof of this and it was even a bit fuller. Ultimately after several attempts, Sixt was unable to charge me extra. Now the deposit should be released. Where this is arranged the same day with other companies, Sixt indicates that this can take up to 10 days, depending on the bank. It is strange that the bank then only needs more time with Sixt and not with other companies. After contact with the bank it turned out to be wrong, it processes everything the same day. Contacted Sixt again and still got no response. Now that the 10 days have passed, it would be nice if the deposit could be released
