Manuel Sandoval Vallarta Library

Being a scientist and specifically a botanist myself I found the botany section of the library to be depauperate, particularly for a higher institution of this size. My personal collection of biology books is probably larger. If they spent as much money adding to the collection of scientific books as they did putting in new playground equipment- catering to the much younger generation visiting the Universitum in droves on buses- then they would probably at least have the shelves full. Would be a good place to read the entire collection of Frank Herbert's Dune though.

The facilities are in very good condition. The Internet is freely accessible. The detail is that Universum employees are very noisy when greeting the librarian. In this way they constantly interrupt the concentration in the study. In addition, the reception area does not have friendly and trained staff that lives up to what is necessary. Sometimes they have people suited to the profile required in this position.

It has free Wi-Fi for users, a wide range of services and a very varied catalog with several titles in English, videos and a newspaper library. A perfect place to spend time with the family, the playroom has many books and toys.
