Marriott Cancun Resort

We just got back home to Kentucky and our trip to Cancun was amazing. I asked for a room with a nice view and The Marriott did not disappoint! We had a two bed room with a huge balcony overlooking the ocean and pool. It was absolutely stunning! Pink marble floors in the hallway, fresh grey walls with a spacious closet and safe. There was a big dresser, cozy lingerie chair, and small table with chairs for dining. White marble bathroom no tub but the shower was very nice! The pool and hot tub was beautiful, spa and hospitality outstanding. I would recommend this hotel! Stephanie Clarkston

Situated right at the water's edge, you couldn't ask for much more. The staff is helpful and friendly and the location is unmatched. My room was an ocean facing room so I had views of sunrise over the water. The room was well appointed and the bathroom was nice as well. I especially loved the shower. The pool area was well stocked with towels and was well maintained. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Really, truly, I have had a number of fantastic experiences over the past few months. The hotel staff is doing a fantastic job managing the COVID situation while still enabling guests to enjoy the sun and sand of Cancun. Masks are everywhere and required when not stationary in a pool/beach chair, which gives me a sense of comfort. The restaurants are practicing social distancing and the staff is excellent at giving friendly reminders to those who may have forgotten to abide by current policy. All the bars (lobby, pool, beach) are open and wait staff is on hand to satisfy an thirst you may have while soaking in the sun! You can chose the pool or the beach depending on your mood of the day. On the beach, I experienced minimal interruptions from folks peddling merchandise and it was far less intrusive than other places I’ve been. The rooms are great, with beautiful ocean views and the sound of the waves crashing through my open door put me to sleep for one of the best rests I’ve had in a while. The gym is open and can be utilized by appointment, which I love. It ensures social distancing and allows for a thorough cleaning between slot times which is beyond impressive and makes me wonder why more properties don’t do this. How incredible that I had to come down to Cancun to find a hotel doing it right!! A number of beach events go on in the evening and we were there for a beach cookout one afternoon. Great food, great drinks, great staff, great trip!

We're very picky when it comes to hotels. The Marriott Cancun definitely have our hearts. It's a nice location with some really great restaurants on site and close by. The staff is very friendly. Leonardo always takes care of us and make sure we're happy. The rooms are very clean and they went great measures to make sure it's covid safe. This is always our spot when we come to Cancun. Highly recommended
