Hotel NH Collection Mexico City Reforma

I stayed here because when booking through my AMEX portal I was awarded a 3rd night free plus $100 hotel credit, and a free room upgrade. The staff was friendly, professional, and courteous and put my in a nice room on the 12th floor with a very comfortable king sized bed in a spacious room. The waterfall type shower felt great and the water came out piping hot. The view isn't as good as the rooms on the other side (back of hotel / rooms with terrace) but still nice. The hotel in a great and safe location right next to plenty of restaurants, walking streets, and the metro. Since I had the $100 credit, I ordered plenty of room service and visited the restaurant often. I must say, if I didn't have the credit I probably wouldn't have returned. The food is decent but the prices don't reflect the portions or quality, better to head out and grab a bite. There's a pool on the 3rd floor and a nice outdoor lounge area. This hotel is solid, I'm sure there's better, and some worse. You'll enjoy your stay. ADD-ON: I must say I’m very impressed by the level of customer service and attention they gave me. They asked me how they can improve their dining experience after seeing my comments and they came to my room the last night to offer me a little desert and a thanks for staying. The room service is always prompt and efficient and comes well assembled!

Good hotel if you need to be in this neighborhood for work, or if you want the gym on site. If not, don’t stay in this hotel, go to a small boutique hotel. It will be cheaper, more charming, and better quality. This hotel didn’t age well. I stayed there 2 times, the shower was always leaking, always forgot to give you shampoo, the towels had stains...

This hotel is a 2 star, we got into our hotel room and it was warm, we inserted key and set A/C very low to get room cool, left the key inserted and went to eat and exchange money came back 3hrs later the room had cooled 1 degree, we paid for three guests but got two towels, they don't offer any luggage rack holder, they provide ONE bottle of water regardless of guest number and only on the first night of your stay?? We are staying here 3 nights. No option to not have room serviced, no "do not disturb hangers", the bathroom toilet holder holds two rolls, yet they only stock it with ONE. Only one out of three elevators works. Not all NH collections are the same according to front desk staff after I mentioned these issues to them first, I've stayed at NH collection in Merida and loved it, but I will no longer stay at NH Collections Hotels and expect them to have same standards. Also.. I'm writing this at 10am having been woke by cement chiseling since 9am on a Saturday!! And they are still chiseling away.. the hotel's location is great! Bed was comfortable yet too small for two people, full size beds.

great location, safe and walkable surroundings. very well managed hotel. clean rooms with very comfortable beds and bedding. friendly staff und excellent service. i will definitely stay here again on my next visit to mexico city.

Antonio from.the bell staff is one of the greatest humans live. Such a helpful hotel staff in these covid times. Very attentive to the covid rules. Their staff wanted to help you to do anything you asked for. Very good location and very safe area.
