Stayed overnight in local families eco project. Wonderful food cooked by local family at El ejido. Just showed up without reservations, no problem, but they were surprised! You don't have to pay for a tour to come here, independent travelors can do it if they have a car. Hiked to the sótano (From 4-6am) to see the guacamayas at sunrise, with local guide for about 250 pesos. Very amazing site! Total for one night, dinner, guide about 600 pesos per person. Very remote, glad we had a four wheel drive SUV! Scary mountain roads, narrow, steep, bumpy dirt road last 1.5 hours...but amazing place, moderately tough hike was about 2 hours each way. Bring snacks, fruit, water, cooler of drinks and fill gas tank...not many services here! Natural beauty abounds!

The place is beautiful. The view is very nice. Super friendly people. A highly recommended place, it is very worth it.

Wonderful place! Super tired but worth it, the hostel is very expensive for what it offers, but the attention is good
