This botanical garden is charming and reflects the local landscape. It contains many types of cactus, succulents and other desert plants including a few shade trees. The stonework walls and paths are beautifully designed and expertly built. There are many butterflies, bees and birds. To get there from the city center, we took Uber - its about 20 to 25 minutes by car. Best to go in the morning or else bring a hat or umbrella.

Wonderful garden full of cactuses and succulents inside Parque Tangamanga! I can't wait to go back and walk through again. There are many different varieties to view, and there were many for sale as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is closed on the weekends, and it is probably closed on Monday because the entire park closes at 11am every Monday.
