Best car rental i worked with on my trip.

In an industry full of crooks, it's refreshing to have an honest car rental company. No lies and games like literally every other car company in the Yucatan peninsula, including the big international brands. Anywhere else will find a way to charge you more in the end. Save the trouble and just go with Montejo.

Crooks. They tried charging us triple the rate they quoted. 850 pesos per day???

Terrible car, had a flat tire and changed it in a very busy intersection. Turned car in let them know about the spare. They took it out looked at it then brought me home. 2 hours later the young man that brought me home came back and started harnessing me about paying for the tire. Accusing me of damaging it. Involved my neighbor and continued to harass. I am a 70 year old woman that certainly did not need this. Never rent from these people I think the cars are not really that safe.

Be careful. We almost made a big mistake by renting from this company. The price was $550/day for a small car. When I saw the car with dents and cigarette burns on the seats, I thought this is not good. When I saw the gas tank was on empty, I said I refuse to deal with this company. I went to National and got a VW Gol with a full tank of gas for $450/day. Buyer be ware!!!!!!
