Archaeological Site Yucatan Ake

As of today - 1-10-2021 site was closed because of covid. I don't know if there was a hacienda tour but those gates were closed too. So we took pictures from the gate and poked around the factory. Part of it is still un use.

Secluded not a lot of people milling around. You can actually explore this area. And there is a new temple being uncovered.

Fantastic ruins, partly taken over by nature and we were the only visitors that day! There is also a yarn(?) production warehouse next door with really cool old machinery in use, also worth checking out.

Beautiful site

Pretty cool archaeological Zone off the beaten path a little bit but is not overly large. If you're out this way is worth popping in to see you. Also about 200 meters away from the ruins is a old factory where they made twine. If you like old Machinery it's definitely worth checking that out as well!
