HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! My family and I got to the Hertz at the Veracruz Airport to pick up our PRE-PAID 7 passenger van and when we arrived they did NOT have it available for us. They offered us a 5 passenger car which we did not fit since we were 7 passengers. They refused to handle our refund and we had to make an ADDITIONAL EXPENSE in paying for another van through NATIONAL who by the way were WAY MORE PROFESSIONAL. NEVER again will we book with Hertz. So please save yourself time, frustration, and money.

Same as other poor reviews. Charged us double what our reservation quoted. At midnight with 15 people traveling with us we were definitely taken advantage of. Do not rent with these people.

This place also scams you with rental basic insurance at a higher rate as if its full coverage. Complications with renting a vehicle in Mexico 100% hard

I made a reservation online. They didn't have the intermediate car and charged me for the upgrade. I paid double what my reservation said.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! If you can hire another agency, do it! On the weekend my husband and I traveled to Veracruz, to avoid having to use public transport, we prefer to rent a car with Hertz, we have rented cars in the US and Playa del Carmen before (not in this company) and we have never had a problem, these are usually road trips. From the beginning they took good care of us but they took a long time to pick us up at the airport, when we arrived at the office we heard that they had had a problem with another client and were changing cars, my husband even joked if they would not give him the same one. We finished the process and they gave us the car, we did not think that they would give us a car with low tires and a flat and old part. (I have evidence) that day we used the car to go to dinner and we arrived the next day we were going to eat and on the way he punctured the tire, we put the spare part and also flat, we called the agency and it took more than 30 min. To answer, and then they agreed to return the call which was another 30 min. They told us they would come to change the car and it took another hour and a half, they told us that there would be no problem that they would not charge more. When we returned the car at the airport they charged us $ 1200 for the tire of the previous car and a cap at $ 400 this fell on the road (I have photos that are badly placed, those were checked and it seemed that they would not fall) well, in the end there was no manager to attend us, the card was foreign and had a blocking code that the assistants did not know how to unlock at the end they would send me an email to make the charges. The truth is very disappointed with the attention, the cars in poor condition. Etc. If you can, hire another agency. It was my husband's first time in Veracruz and he takes this impression of the poor quality of the service.
