Beautiful Temples Sun and Moon! If you like to go there with a public transportation, it will take about one hour! It’s totally safe and secure! I didn’t feel any bad on the way and return! Hot air balloon was awesome too, it takes like half an hour but worth it

Very beautiful place! This is great area with multiple pyramids that you can climb; the largest being the Pyramid of the Sun (the second largest is the Pyramid of the Moon, but they don’t allow you to climb that one). The view on top of the pyramids is also breathtaking being able to see for miles; great for photos. There are also a lot of venders at the bottom that sell you little souvenirs, from medals featuring the Aztec gods to stone masks to obsidian knives.

On a high school trip 54 years ago, I was fortunate to visit Teotihuacan, a fascinating historical place, on a par with the Egyptian pyramids. While there, 6 or 7 of us decided to climb the Temple of the Sun, now more commonly called the Pyramid of the Sun. I understand today there are hand cables to assist your climb, but then there was nothing, just as it had been back in the Aztec’s time. You climbed at your own risk. It was quite challenging. The higher you climbed, the taller & narrower the stone steps became, with increasing hazards of large cracks & weather-worn holes. They became too high to easily step up or down, requiring use of hands & knees. On the upper tiers, in an effort to prevent turning an ankle or falling, it was slow going. With nothing to hold onto, if you fell who knows how far you could go before stopping, not to mention probable injuries. It was steep. Upon reaching the top, the reward and sense of accomplishment was worth every bit of effort and difficulty. To this day, I am so glad I can say I did that. So, if you can, go to this magical place, learn about it’s intriguing history, and if you can, climb at least one or two of the pyramids. It will gift you with priceless, cherished memories for a lifetime. Also, I don’t know if it’s still there, but we ate in a very nice restaurant located in a grotto, somewhere close by, possibly on the same grounds.

The most powerful energy I felt on the entire grounds! Ruins are open but you still can’t climb them as of September 11, 2020. However, it’s still worth it to go!! Tip: hire a guide at the entrance (check if they’re certified first); we got Lalo, who speaks English well. It’s so worth it and you learn WAY more than just exploring on your own! And bring tons of sunscreen and snacks! Even with the pandemic stopping us from climbing the ruins, we still took 4.5 hours!!

Powerful energy! We had a world class guide who spent hours with us! Lalo made it a wonderful day and spoke great English.
