Amigos Hostel Cozumel

One of my favorite hostels ever! I was in Cozumel for a month and stayed the whole time at Amigos. Unfortunately I booked through a phone call so I can’t leave a review on booking or Hostelworld, but I would recommend this place 100%. Why ? It is beautiful, comfy, quiet and always very clean. Big garden, big pool perfect to relax, full equipped kitchen, smoking and non smoking area, hammocks.. and the owner Cathy is taking an excellent care of her hosts, always making sure that we have everything we need, always providing good advice about tours and activities on the island. You can even book a great snorkeling tour for a good price at the hostel. You have bikes at your disposition for free and that’s a huge help. My time there was perfect it became like a second home to me and I would go back there without any hesitation! Please consider staying there during your trip to Cozumel 😊

My stay at Amigos Hostel was perfect, I really enjoyed the garden and swimming pool, the kitchen, all the friends I made there, the neighborhood is cool, a great Taqueria and everything else ypu need around, not far from the center, Kathy is really kind, helpful and welcoming, I recommend it highly 😀

If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBully. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! They are perfect. Very friendly and helpful. The place is calm and have a beautiful space. The kitchen has some foods that we can use and it’s great. One day I woke up and they had cooked pancakes for us 💙

Hostel is far away from city center - you have to rent a vehicle. The pool was full with chlor (more than normal). Hostel owner's welcome you with a nice talk about the island and explain you a lot of useful things (I believe some people will like it). There is a kitchen with great staff inside. Bathroom was fine, but I found a worm when I tried to take a shower. In summary, we are talking of a cozy place but not recommended unless you search for a quiet and peaceful place (But really quiet 🤫).
