Site Museum Tehuacan

Parkring is on the left. The security guard will show you where to go. You can't drive up to the ruins anymore which is fine. The museum is in Spanish which is unhelpful for foreigners but still nice to check out. It's small and can be seen in a few minutes. There are also very clean bathrooms next to the museum.

This museum houses a fabulous collection from the Tehuacan Viejo Archaeological site. It includes the recently discovered pieces from the Temple of the God Xipe Totec. This is an extremely important find in the Prehispanic history of Mexico.

The place is very good. But it could be better.

A good place to walk and get to know Tehuacan
