Centro Cultural Santo Domingo

Highly recommend it to get to know the history of Mexico. Museum entrance is 80 Mexican pesos. It's huge so take your time. It's divided in 13 rooms which go in chronological order. All the signs and explanations are in Spanish but I did see some people wearing audiotours.

The museum here is one of the best in Mexico but don’t just come for the arts, come for the amazing views of Oaxaca city. Some of the best photo spots in the entire area are located inside of the grounds of this museum.

Make sure to count your change here. I got taken for 100 pesos. Informational signs are only in Spanish. This is all a shame because it is an excellent collection in a great setting.

Mejestuoso and imposing, this is the old College of Santo Domingo, in Oaxaca; its construction began in 1575.
