A well kept archeological site that is beautiful with the sun beaming down. If you can don't go with a tour because they will rush you through.

It‘s a small but beautiful place, nice to combine with the „Mezcal Route“.

Due the Corona epedemic the whole town of Mitla is blocked for foreigners / tourists. Sorry to say but you even cannot get close to here.

Mitla is a large Zapotec site in the Oaxaca Valley, in the middle of a town, with large palace-like structures covered with carved geometric patterns. Easy to visit. The Mixtec took over the area about 1000 years ago and continued to use the site.
