Great place to stay. The place was clean and comfortable with a very serene atmosphere. The staff were very polite, and welcoming.
Absolutely enjoyed the local dishes from the restaurant. Great value for the price!
Decent place, neat, well run and value for the buck. Decent 3 star facility. Will try again.
I must say that my stay at Berbera Palace Royale was amazing. Booking was easy and they even kept calling to find out about my journey. On getting there, I noticed that the location was very nice and quite, well I don't like so much noise. It's actually in a serene place so I give them a plus for that.
Entering into the hotel, the staff were very welcoming and courteous, also very polite I must say. The decorations, paintings and choice of colors were warm and welcoming. Great ambience I must confess.
The rooms were small though but they were OK and neat. I loved the AC, it was so powerful. The TV reception was not good at all. The wifi was very strong although I only got to use it for a day as I was given only 24hours access voucher. It was kind of my fault as I never asked them for another because I spent 3 nights there. But I think they should try and give for duration of stay instead of every 24 hours.
The food was delicious and affordable and restaurant was always prompt. The only thing I am not happy with them is the fact they did not give me my 900 naira change till I left. They kept on saying they will bring it but I never saw it. I think their services make up for it so it's OK. They also had complementary breakfast which was really nice.
The hotel also has a love flower point where you get to take beautiful pictures.
So overall, I'd say my stay was wonderful and I sure have found somewhere to always be sure of whenever I visit Abuja. Berbera Palace Royal was really worth. It and I'd say they should keep up their good services. You should also not doubt staying there.
And less I forget, the security is also good as they always called to inform me whenever I had a visitor even if it's thesame person that has been coming. Also when the visitor is leaving, they always called to comfirm if it was OK for the person to leave. Kudos to them

UPDATE: this is an update on my 900 naira change as the receptionist called to apologize and explained that it wasn't intentional not to give me my change as I left before they could do so. She asked for my bank account detail and refunded the 900 naira. This is commendable. Also the lady receptionist, though I don't know her name, should be your friend. She is extremely lovely. So I give them a 5 star now instead of the initial 4 star.
Beautiful. No gym, though..
