The food was good, ambience was also neat. A lot can be done about the maintenance culture. For example, the room I stayed in had burnt bulbs and the bath room was not clean enough, especially the shower head, faucet and the tap

Carlton gate xclusive hotel has a very good is a very beautiful and cosy hotel to visit, however their facilities are poor and their services are slow and terrible. All the cocktails we ordered for wasn’t available , we had to settle for chapman(which was below average. The ‘carlton stirfry’ I ordered for was a no for me, it was basically white spaghetti with a sprinkle of veggies. The food also took about two hours and the ‘rooftop’ facilities were extremely bad. I think there’s room for improvement as they have a clear advantage due to their location and prosperity in Ibadan. The building needs renovation and a bit of brighter interior lights and also staff training. I spent a total of #4,300 (carlton stirfry and chapman) .
