No ticket machines on the platform and no indication of where they are. If I'm changing trains, it's not very useful to walk 7 minutes from the track to the station and back again. I would have missed my connection. Instead the Dutch railways missed out on ticket revenue.

Just a regular train station, nothing special. Design is a bit outdated, the place would benefit from a renovation. Has lots of connections to both major and minor stations in the Netherlands, as well as good frequent bus services servicing both the city of Amersfoort as well as the surrounding towns.
