Although most people have a good experience with Electronics in Vaassen, I have a very bad experience. For years I have been caring for and guiding a very old friend living in Emst, currently he is 96 years old. He has been a customer of this company for years. Last year he ordered a T.V. at this company, because he cannot handle this well, he needs a new one every two years in recent years. He also ordered a CD player with amplifier from this company. According to him, he clearly said that it should not be an expensive device. This has been delivered. After a short while, a friend from Epe called me to say that a very complicated Onkyo DX-C390 B was delivered with an amplifier. Total price € € 628. But my friend can not handle this, so this device is not used and is in a storage cupboard. The company had put all kinds of stickers on the CD player, a kind of manual. Because a woman from the Stichting de Kruimelschaar occasionally came by to pay the bills, she paid this without any consultation with me. Because I live in Portugal, I spoke to the Electronics staff about this during my next visit to the Netherlands. According to them, my friend had asked for this type of CD player. I had never heard of this brand myself, let alone my friend. The treatment that I received was more than outrageous. Because I have been connected to the consumer association for years, I am considering submitting a complaint via the Complaints Compass. I know that this incident does not stand on its own, that it happened several times. But for me and my friend, this state of affairs is unacceptable.
