Willem the Ice King is an enthusiastic, friendly owner with a passion for his profession! Step in, take your time, because quality is better than quantity! I was there a few weeks ago with my mother for a regular old-dutch pancake and ice cream. especially the ice cream cake batter really surprised me! There was a welcoming and open atmosphere, which is very pleasant for children. Respect for the staff who keep their heads cool despite the heat and many guests! I had a nice lunch and would love to come back! Thanks!

The ice king. I'm not sure how to describe this, but certainly not positive. Maybe this failed tent is just the right place to get an ice cream quickly, but certainly not for something to eat, let alone a pancake! I would like to eat a waffle. Mister the ice cream king neatly said that the batter had run out and asked if he could make us happy with a tasty pancake. That was good and the wait started. Other people came in with whom the Ice King and his staff were very busy. Actually only the ice cream king because the girl behind the bar may have roughly scooped 10 scoops of ice cream and helped 7 customers in the 45 minutes I've been waiting for a pancake. After helping these people at a snail's pace, they started processing our order. All this took 20 minutes. It took another 5 minutes before we got our drink, while no one else was helped. The pancake batter was also finished but we were not informed about this. So they had to make that batter and that took a lot of time. Meanwhile, the girl behind the bar still didn't hit. Another employee came in. I quote the words of Willem the ice king: "now there is a very fast lady inside so we can continue working." This 'fast lady' certainly contributed to the team and yet it was still going at a snail's pace. Girl behind the bar knew nothing, couldn't even make a milkshake when it wasn't her first day (just look at the other reviews.) After waiting 45 minutes at a table, we finally got our semi-cold and dry pancakes. After being lied to about the batter, not getting tasty pancakes and waiting 45 minutes, we said that this really was not possible and it was really very bad. It was not this tent, it was very busy everywhere so we had to wait so long everywhere. I am still a child, but I had 45 minutes to observe what went wrong and where improvements are needed. For starters, hire good staff! The girl at the bar costs you money, does nothing and just breaks the place. This takes time and money. Make sure you have everything in stock! No cassis, no waffle batter and no pancake batter. Don't lie to your customers! If the wafer batter is finished, no problem. If the pancake batter has run out, don't lie to people before they can get a tasty pancake. Prepare this batter in the morning, when there are almost no customers. And finally, everyone should be given a clear task, because now everyone did something and there was no communication at all. Not spiteful, but I as a child could run this tent even better than the ice king himself. Definitely go here as it was a great experience to see these people mess around.

If you want a really tasty pancake you have to go to Willem in balk. He was not too thin, not too fat, he was great. Willem thanks for the great and good service and if we are in the area again x will certainly come topper👍👍👍

Delicious ice cream especially the hazelnut was very good !! Willem is also not averse to joking in his time, both in the case and in his reactions on Google 😉
