Nice Appartement for a brief stay. Pro: modern style great location in quaint Harlingen. When air condition broke it was fixed quite quickly within two days. Con: not a real "Hotel" as suggested, no cleaning or towel exchange during entire stay. Room was designated for 4 adults but had basically no privacy (studio/maisonette layout wasn't clear during booking), and two of the beds were actually sofa beds which became a bit painful to the back after a few nights (sorry but I'm not twenty anymore).

We stayed one night in December 2019 in apartment Rand of De Bank and that was a big disappointment. We had previously thought that a relatively expensive stay would guarantee us a carefree and comfortable stay, but that was absolutely not the case. On arrival we had to wait 45 minutes outside in the cold because the access code was unknown. Then the apartment was freezing cold, after half an hour of searching the internet we got the air conditioning on the heating mode via the online manual. However, the air conditioning was not powerful enough to heat the living room pleasantly. It stayed ice-cold for two days. In addition to the cold, the apartment also turned out to be very noisy, it seemed as if continuous washing machines were on, which turned out to be heating pipes. The noise also went on at night, so we slept very badly despite the good bed. This apartment is definitely not suitable for renting, certainly not in the winter. Furthermore, we found the service poor: no hand soap in the bathroom and at checkout just asked to pay while we had already paid. In short, absolutely not recommended!

Superb 4-day family stay with 2 teenagers. Spacious and comfortable rooms in a charming setting by the water and the locks. Our host is very professional and friendly. Speaks English which made our discussions easier. The apartments are faultless. Clean spacious and modern. Good bedding. Very comfortable: kitchen equipped with dishwasher, dryer and washing machine. .... welcome products with the necessary sponges, garbage bag, dishwasher detergent. .. Tea available in the kitchen. We felt right at home.
