We have dealt with Carolien Koster van Damdrecht Makelaars as the broker of the selling party. Precisely in this time of housing shortage, in which the sale of a home is very easy and many selling real estate agents do not really make an effort to sell the property in question - as we unfortunately had to experience - Carolien Koster surprised us in a pleasant, positive way. with her personal approach. She really takes her time. She is also fair and does not play games. That was the reason for us, in addition to the fact that we naturally liked the house, to maintain interest in the house it offered and to lose it in other properties, where the selling brokers could not even look and / or greet us properly. and / or were clearly playing games with us. This has led us to decide, after the purchase of the new house was arranged, to turn to Carolien to take care of the sale of our old house. This way we know for sure, based on our own experience, that everything is being done to actually sell the home. P.S. I read below in the review that there would be discrimination at Damdrecht. We also have a foreign background and we absolutely do not share that opinion!

Unfortunately, we do not have a pleasant experience with this broker. Last Friday we had contact about the viewing of a house. It had only just been put on sale. I was told that I would be called back to schedule a viewing, they did not know what day the viewings would take place because this had not yet been discussed with the sellers. Yesterday afternoon I called again because I hadn't called back yet. This time it was said that there were many interested people, and I indicated that I had already called Friday to schedule a viewing. And that this was not possible then. Also this time no appointment was scheduled and I would be called back again. Last night at 7:00 PM I called by the broker to ask if I want the house for myself. I explained that we will probably rent the house to my brother-in-law because he cannot buy it himself. I got the following response to this: "then I have to disappoint because the buyer does not want to sell his home to an investor." I find this very strange (and then I put it very gently). Firstly: why was this not reported on Friday if the seller really has this as a strict requirement? Then you do not promise to call back to make an appointment, no you first ask if I am an investor. In addition, I find this completely unbelievable. The normal course of events is that you make your offer and that these types of matters are included in the consideration and the award factor. But I didn't even get the chance to see the house last to make an offer. There are 2 options of what's going on here. Or these brokers forgot to call us and because so many viewings have been scheduled in the meantime, we are brushed off in this way. Or does our origin have something to do with this? The latter would be very unfortunate, but unfortunately I cannot conclude otherwise. We are longer in the housing market and we have never experienced this.

A very good and active team, with knowledge and very quick response to questions regarding actions to be taken and, even responding outside office hours and, if necessary, also during the weekend. Very good experience with Carolien Koster. Customer-friendly treatment at Damdrecht Makelaars!
