Good vans and kind service. The self service (diesel) gas station next to it is also very handy when you need to return the van.

KAV AUTOVERHUUR UTRECHT_CLAIM 28-05-2018 On Saturday 26-05-2018, we have rent a vehicle on the KAV Autoverhuur Utrecht on the Atoomweg 48. The reservation was done via telephone and all the agreements closed then. We need it the vehicle for the moving of our house planned the same day. We had to wait there as the van we had rented was not available and they had to arrange another one. After waiting around 40 minutes we get a van that had an empty battery so that had to be loaded. They told us that we needed to leave the motor just on, until the sign on the desk board would disappear. That took more than two hours and a lot of calls to KAV. Today we have received the invoice and we have seen that they have charge extra costs like extra insurance while we’ve never asked for and 20 extra kilometres (over the 100 agreed). I’ve called the establishment to claim about the extra incorrect charge and beside, in my opinion, a non polite way to handle clients, the man on the telephone told me that because the invoice was already out of his system, he could not do anything else (via credit nota maybe?). According to my first and provably last experience with KAV Autoverhuur Utrecht, the punctuality is not good, the vehicles are not in order and the responsible of the reservations/invoices is not honest (as he is charging non agreed costs).

Really expensive, they took more than a month to refund my deposit money (even tho i called/e-mail them several times) And looking at other comments this is apparently something they always do. Also the car was not in a good state, the alert lights in the dash turned on for no reason and the button to open the passenger window was broken. The only good thing about them is that they open until 18:00 on a Saturday, which was the only reason i went there since bo-rent was already closed. I totally recommend bo-rent instead of this awful service, they are cheaper and they actually return your money. If i could give zero stars i would.
