The dough is well baked dry,
which makes the waffle crispy and then the delicious old-fashioned syrup recipe!
Today on the market stroopwafels from Dekker in heart shape. Apparently the shape has consequences for the quality of the product. Really too dry. Not enough syrup. And that for a hefty price. Not recommended. The basic product is okay, by the way.
I have eaten a lot of stroopwafels in my life, but I must say that this stroopwafel was the tastiest I have ever had👌
