Very bad customer service. Unfortunatelly I got a traffic ticket. they charged me 42€ just to give my data to police. "administrative cost" as they call this robbery, and on the website there is no way to find the "factuur" Never again with them!

Terrible! Verschrikkelijk! Rented a car with a credit card that was not specifically on my name. Only after the payment it was clearly pointed out the name on the card had to be exactly the same as the driver. So I immediately cancelled and contacted customer support first thing in the morning. She ensured me that everything was fine and that there would be no cost due to the direct cancellation. All good.... not yet. Two months later still no return of my money. Their customer service refuses to react to any of the mails I started sending after 4 weeks, and their reservations department says to contact customer service department. Had to ask the credit card company to return the money. For me never Avis again. Be ware of their customer service department as they have absolutely no intend of giving service.

THIEVES!! STAY AWAY!! Unacceptable experience! Stay away! They will try to rob you in any possible way! I rented a car recently for 5 days. Upon my arrival, the employee tried to charge me with extra insurance and covers. She was even told me that if the car breaks down I need to pay extra for road assistance. And of course, that I am not covered for any accident. So, what the hell is the ´basic insurance´ that we pay when we make the booking? The worst of all was when I dropped the car off 5 days later. The employee ensured me that everything was OK after the inspection and accepted the keys of the car. After a day they called me from Budget accusing me for a damage in the car. They told me that they would send me photos of the damage. I didn't acknowledge the damage and told them that they have nothing to prove that I was responsible for this damage after one day that the car was not in my possession. Then, they never send me the email with the photos and the charged my credit card with 275,00 euro without even notifying me at all! (In the terms & conditions it is stated that IF the customer is not present at the inspection of the car then they can charge the credit card. But I was there and the employee ensured me that everything was OK and I gave the keys to her 'hand-to-hand'). So, this claim is not valid. I discussed this with a friend and he told me that he had the same issue with the same company and that they do this systematically! DO NOT EVEN THINK TO REND A CAR WITH THIS COMPANY!!! STAY AWAY! THEY ARE SYSTEMATICALLY STEALING OUR MONEY!

I am a member of Avis preferred, I asked to switch car in same class of manual car, because I did not like the crappy mission of the Cactus. Lady at the reception desk. She assume I can not drive the manual car. And she refuse to give me the manual car. How lame is that? Hey! I paid enough money to get some service buddy! This is the worst Avis service ever!
