Turned out to be in some sort of public bid with a number of others. I was later told when the buyers accepted one of the other bids. The junior broker's answer to my comment that I didn't like it was that we were out of alignment. Well, if you have a misty negotiating policy that involves this kind of money, then we are indeed not on the same page. A better response would have been to admit that you MUST have played better open cards beforehand. Little bit of bad taste in my mouth.

We could find almost everything ourselves. What we did not find was always friendly, helpful staff, so that we could leave the store with a cart full.
