Beautiful nature walk on and around the Grebbeberg, which actually consists of three mountains and where there was hard fighting in WWII. But ... the Grebbe-line is actually much older and the use of the water as a defense line dates back to the 18th century! Visit the only cemetery in the Netherlands with Dutch soldiers. Follow the IVN walk, which will take you to beautiful places.

Small station with few amenities (waiting area only), large and free car park and bicycle shed. The stop train runs every half hour to Amsterdam, via Utrecht CS (not only on weekends). Tip: for refreshments and toilet visits you can go to the Esso on the viaduct.

A fairly simple station. Only it is a bit annoying that there is a queue at the public transport chip card pole during busy periods.

Cool station for train and nature lovers but the station is not in the neighborhood of Rhenen. There is also no sanitation (if necessary) or something where you can get food and drinks. There are trains running twice a week during the week to Uitgeest (occasionally the train ends at A'dam Centraal). In the rush hour there is also an extra sprinter up to and including Breukelen. In the weekend only sprinters drive to Breukelen. Travelers who want to go to Arnhem Central Station can only transfer to Driebergen-Zeist.
