It was decently clean, and a bit outdated. But the worst part is the pedestrian exit. You have to first when you get on the boat go up two flights of stairs, while carrying your bags. Then, once on the boat you can either take the lift or climb up the stairs. But to get to the lift, you must climb 1 flight of stairs. Then, when you finally get off the boat, you have to go down 2 flights of stairs, once again, while carrying your bags. It is simply not made for pedestrians, so i advise you to take the car or a bike/scooter/motorbike instead. the experience inside of a car on the other hand, is great. Easy, fast and modern.

Well-organized entrance for all types of vehicles. Comfy and modern interior, including cafe and gift shop.

Easier than expected. Bought ticket in advance via internet. Very smooth check in. Very easy to board and disembark. Waiting times bearable. Ferry nice with possibility to buy some refreshments.

I drove a lifted Jeep Wrangler Jlu, and the boarding and leaving the ferry was the best I have ever seen. Order your ticket online put your plate number in, it will auto scan your plate and you just drive in. Only a 20 min ride to Texel. They are pretty good on time as well. Super easy, I would recommend it if you are looking for a nice day trip in North Holland.

It's the only way to reach Texel by car, they're quick and professional. Quite nice on-board services too! (Not available during the pandemic)
