I made a bid on a house they were selling, i have called them to confirm that they received my offer. During the call, i heard from makelaar that there is another bidder offering 10k more than i did and i should bid higher if i want the house. I think this is not a honest way of working. They play a remote auction game to make people bid higher.

Super pleasant and customer-friendly brokers. As a selling party I got the feeling that I was understood in my wishes about asking price and conditions. Communication was professional and personal. These brokers are not all about money but about honesty and fairness. A real estate agent is also partly dependent on movements in the housing market. and therefore cannot give any guarantees regarding a quick sale. And? My house was sold within a month for a very good price !!
