Bakkerij Kwakman

The first time I visited this bakery the staff were rude but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but when I visited for the second time today I was blown away by how unfriendly the woman serving me was, it was extraordinary! I was upset and thought they must have taken a disliking to me even though I was trying to speak Dutch but am "relieved" to find on Google that a lot of people had the same experience! If you want to ruin your day then visit this bakery :)

The bread is good, but nothing special. The service is horrible. The ladies at the counter the moment they understand you don't speak Dutch they change completely their attitude. Very rude and unhelpful. It's very unfortunate, it is literally 3 mins walk from my house. I would buy bread there every day if I didn't feel so unwelcome every time I step inside.

Adjust price / quality; it really needs to be better. If you want to continue to exist take this feedback wholeheartedly. It would be a shame to lose another baker in Amsterdam.

Not even worth 1 star, the people there are so unfriendly. Rather cycle to Bakkerij van den Heijden.
