Commissioned in 1933 by the Dutch General Insurance Bank designed by architect Willem Marinus Dudok. The HAV Bank building is designed in a business-like expressionist style that is quit iconic. This bank was founded in 1903 but is currently used as an apartment complex

Beautiful building with bold horizontal lines by Dudok, designed just in front of his famous town hall in Hilversum. The water pipe system in the concrete construction was revolutionary in terms of technology to keep the building cool. The HAV Bank building was designed in 1931-1935 by architect Dudok on behalf of the Hollandse Algemeene Verzekeringsbank. The building of the HAV Bank is designed in a business expressionist style. In 1952 and 1952 extensions were drawn by Dudok.
