Lovely personal and great haircut!

Karin is a great hairdresser. She has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost 20 years and that of my 14-year-old daughter, my daughter has always loved it with Karin in the salon from a toddler. Even when I moved outside of Amsterdam, I remained a customer. Karin is professional and very precise. She takes all the time to go through your hairstyle and discuss the color. She sells fine products, which she selects with care and she will never force anything on you. We are fans!

Had my hair dyed a few times myself. It was not in the 'healthiest state' and it was certainly challenging. karin has lightened it up very nicely so that we gradually regain my natural blonde color. She took the time to discuss what I wanted and how we're going to do it (nice). Very happy with the result. Thank you!!

This hairdresser has very unpleasant energy, very unfriendly and did not feel good

The text on the website sounds more professional and beautiful than reality. The text was probably not written by the owner herself. What a mockery is Hair & Touch! Made an appointment for my daughter of 2.5 because the website says that she is the children's hairdresser in Amsterdam and can cut curls well. My daughter has curls. If you claim to be the children's hairdresser in Amsterdam: 1. There is no big pit bull / American Stafford-like dog at the door. With an irritated face: "I'll take the dog up". 2. Don't ask me if she should grab a higher seat for my daughter. 3. Then she comes with a chair and it is a high bar stool with a backrest. I got a very bad feeling with this woman and so did my daughter. She does not cry quickly. I know her through and through and children also sense when something is wrong. She refused to sit on the bar stool and just cried. I could no longer reassure her. Madam: “I have a technician waiting upstairs who needs a receipt. So here I am now a bit of what should I do. So I will look for that ticket first, because she also feels that I am stressed. Then you can meanwhile try to get her in that chair. " The way she said it was not friendly or irritated. Friendly children's hairdresser, in front of my daughter who was already upset. If you are the children's hairdresser then: 1. Upon arrival you greet the child and try to get in touch with the child. 2. Is there at least something about toys or something that puts children at ease. 3. ETC ETC ETC ETC I therefore unfortunately had to inform the lady that this haircut could not take place, because you cannot force a child. She did not like this, because another appointment was not coming up, so she decided to charge me for this cancellation (out of power). So I did not agree with this. I will save the details of the conversation. NEVER BUT ALSO GO TO THIS HAIRDRESSER IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CHILDREN'S HAIRDRESSER (and curly hairdresser) for your little one, because she really IS NOT !! And her "hair salon" is old and the one photo she publishes looks more beautiful (so-called "vintage") than it is. Also don't be fooled by the text on the website.
