This month I have been at Fitnessclub Energy for 5 years and I still think it is TOP! At the beginning of June 2015 I went to Nikolai for a trial lesson to get fit and strong. The first time I went to “the garage box” at the ynfeart in Heerenveen, I was immediately impressed. A small group of people who were busy with the training and motivated each other to get the most out of it. Falling weights, truck tires, wooden boxes and above all sweat and a grimace on the faces of hard work and discipline. This is really different from a traditional gym. At the same time, everything is possible at Fitnessclub Energy. Do you want to train independently or prefer a workout in small groups, both are possible. If you want to focus on strength or endurance or overall fitness, almost anything is possible from the personal approach. You just have to come (as often as you want) and give yourself 100%, then Nikolai will do the rest with group workouts, personal training schedule, eating schedule and measurements. The first years I mainly did group workouts. Because there is a lot of variation in this and you determine how high you set the bar, this is and will remain fun and challenging. As long as you are motivated yourself, you will achieve structural and steady progress and you can achieve your personal goals, whatever they are. And if you want, you can also make big steps in a relatively short time. At one point Nikolai asked me if I was motivated to follow an intensive program with him. Based on a tailor-made nutrition and training schedule, I trained for 13 weeks 4 days a week twice a day (so 8x a week) under the personal guidance of Nikolai. Intensive strength training early in the morning and mainly cardio in the evening. By losing about 0.5 kg per week, I have become about 7 kg lighter in these months. My fat percentage has been divided below 14% and the muscle volume (ie strength) has increased significantly. I have suffered pain, sweated carrots, had a lot and often muscle pain and mentally often thought that I could not continue while it turned out to be physically possible. In addition, I learned a lot about how to perform an exercise properly (really important) and how to handle your body. I feel and became stronger and fitter, in addition my physique has changed because then again was a disadvantage for my wardrobe. In short, Fitness Club Energy is an absolute must for anyone who is motivated and is looking for something different (read better) than a traditional gym. I'd say give it a shot and you'll be amazed at your own capabilities.

Good personal guidance, small-scale groups and fun, friendly trainers. You feel right at home! Exercise both outdoors and indoors. Where sports is and remains fun!
