I started with HealthCoachPlus in January 2015. In that time I had really bad lifestyle habits. I used to take for long time tablets to lose weight and nothing worked. I've lost 13Kg, but better then losing weight is the fact that I'm having another and better life style. I learned that i must not do a diet that cuts out everything i like in my food, because it’s something that we can't keep up for a long time. I found out that I can eat everything I want, but is all about portions control, variation, and smart choices. I'm still enjoying life, going out, drinking, eating, but now in a correct way. I also found out that I don't need to spend hours at the gym. Now I train hard and smart. With HealthCoachPlus I learned how to get results and train safe and really effective at the same time. So, now I don't have only a good training program with better nutrition habits, I have a healthy life style. I'm happier and more confident. Thanks HealthCoachPlus and Robert Havelaar for all the patience with me!

Beautiful location and very knowledgeable staff. Right now my schedule doesn't fit with theirs, however, I look forward to working with them when I get back from vacation. Definitely check these guys out if you want a trainer with a clue.

A year and a half ago I was persuaded by a friend to do a trial training at HealthCoachPlus. I have always been fairly sporty, but after an Achilles tendon injury and a burnout, the kilos have gained a lot and my condition was very low. Something had to change and I wanted to do that with the help of a personal trainer. My main goal was to get fitter, get more energy and therefore feel better about myself. After a good conversation and trial training, we took the plunge and started exercising. I found the first training sessions under the guidance of Maarten difficult. Heavy because my condition was really bad and my posture during exercise was not good either. Maarten wanted a goal so that we had something to work towards. We wanted to hike 10 months later and decided to go for the longest distance. In addition to exercising once a week, I also started walking more. The first walks took a lot of effort, but here too I noticed, just like with the training sessions: the more often I did it, the further I could go. Maarten provides the encouraging and motivating words during the training. He pays close attention to the execution and posture during the exercises. In addition to exercising and coaching during sports, I also use the body style app. I keep track of what I eat, but I can also keep track of the exercise moments. You can also plan your training sessions and fill in what you have done. It feels so good when you see that you are achieving results, but even better that people notice. In the beginning I didn't see it myself and only when people had "comments" because my clothes were really too loose and I started to put photos next to each other, I saw it too. I did feel it, but I doubted whether it really was. I have achieved the result that I never dared to dream of. Not only have I now lost 22 kilos, but my condition is much better, I enjoy sports more and I am a lot more confident. The personal training makes me feel stronger and fitter. I have chosen to continue training with Maarten, but with a different sports buddy.

It is a small-scale gym with professional friendly trainers. In the spring we had an online training every day that was given live and you could also respond immediately. Later this was pre-recorded and posted. In the summer, the opportunity to take lessons outside came, especially when it was so hot in the summer during Corona and indoor sports was not possible, this was nice. Now that the weather is less outside, fortunately there is also a covered garage where the training sessions can be given dry, so we deal creatively with the situations we have to deal with so that we can still play sports.
