Unreliable! On the day of the passing of the deed of sale of our house, we discovered during a pleasant chat with the buyers that they are very good friends of our real estate agent mr. D. van 't Hooft. Our broker has failed to report this fact to us. The buyers (the family of friends) were the first viewers. According to the broker, there was another viewer after that, but he announced the same day that he was not interested. Looking back at the entire state of affairs (including initially advising a low sales amount), we now seriously question the integrity of this broker. As an NVM broker, has he acted in the interest of us as a client? We now think that there were several interested parties and that he took the boat from them. If we had known about his relationship with the buyers, we might have made very different choices. The unprofessional trading of the broker unfortunately offers room for this doubt.
