Just don't book! They have poor service and work with extremely poor car rental companies who will use all tricks in the book to screw you over and charge more (Goldcar in this case)! Be wise, read the online reviews carefully and book with a rental broker that does live up to its 'all-in rental' promise. Believe me, they do exist. Cheapest option is not always the best option I learned the hard way.

I am living in the Netherlands and here there´s a method of Payment called iDeal where the debit is made directly from the bank account. I made the payment using this method because in the moment of booking it wasn´t requested anything else and after my booking was done I received the information I would need a valid credit card to pick up the car. So I think is not fair finish the booking without pre-check another information (check if the user has a valid card). I intend never to make a deal with this company again.

I booked a sedan car with four doors/ a boot. I needed a bigger car so I payed more. However, I was given a smaller, downgraded 5 door car at the car rental (SIXT). They said this is what I had purchased. My reservation clearly shows and say `4 doors ,sedan car`. I contacted this rental agency, and despite claiming they can only promise the number of seats and doors, I was not reimbursed. They say they can never promise a 4 or 5 door. But they do charge more for it!

Rented a car in Faro at a car rental company known to us, a few months later I saw that the landlord had changed without notifying us. We are very familiar with the rental companies and therefore canceled whereby we would get the paid amount back within 8 days. Now 3 weeks later and 3 mails still not allowed to receive anything, never experienced this. Been last time
