easyHotel Amsterdam Zaandam

I stayed with my partner for 1 week. The room,bedding and towels were spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Amsterdam for a holiday. Well done to easy hotel and all the staff. Many thanks. Tony

First of all I was shocked that there is no opening window in the room to get some fresh air. Then the glass of the non opening window was dirty and for the view we were face to a parking full of muddy earth.. Coming to the room it wasn't cleaned during our stay and no closet  to put my clothes during the stay Now I'll talk about the reception agents. They weren't rude but you pass as if you don't exist, no greeting or friendliness except one respectful man who greeted us when we came in the night. to conclude I felt in love with the city of Amsterdam and for sure I will come back to this city but unfortunately staying in this hotel won't be in the plan...

Despite a global pandemic, EU bans on foreign entry, and all my flights being cancelled, they offered no flexibility for refunding my room. I don't think this is an unreasonable request given the extreme circumstances. I'm sure this is a perfectly fine hotel, but you'll never see me at any of their properties in the future.

Got to the easy hole at about 11pm and had to pay €56 tax without any warning or heads up. Then as we got into the room it was discussing dirty towels in the bath room there was a shoe box from the people before us and they hadn't cleaned the floor they brushed all the dirt behind the door and left it there the window was dirty and wouldnt open you say its because the building is so high when I have been in hotel the same hight and they had working wimdows. I would also like to say that the website is misleading you present the hotel as the front of the building when infact they are apartments and its the worn down scruffy looking building behind it. I was really disappointed with everything and wish I hadn't spent that much on the hotel. The location is fine easy to get a train somewhere and its cheap tickets.
