I highly recommend renting a bike at Tuut-Tuut for a bike trip around the area of Castricum. It's close to the train station and can be reached within short time from there by walking. They have good bikes, the one I have rented for 4 days had 7 gears and it took me 130 km without any issues. Staff is friendly as well. It was the second time I have rented a bike there, and I will definitely rent a bike at Tuut-Tuut again for my next visit in Noord-Holland.
