When I started treatment last year at Ope, the orthodontist told me that within 6, max 9 months the treatment is expected to be finished. During none of the appointments, she never explains anything. The place is like a factory. (On the 12 month of my treatment here) Last month, she told me that my treatment can be finished in early July (in 2 months). Today I came for appointment. She didnt even spoke to me, only explained something to her assistant. Then the assistant changed the plastics and said I am done. I asked for some explanation. She got the orthodontist and the orthodontist started yelling at me! She said she is trying to fix the “HELL” that my previous orthodontist made and she didnt place the braces - which she actually did - and not even charging me... But I still keep asking her when it will be finished. She said she is trying to fix something with the elastics. Then I said the assistant didnt even tell me to use the elastics at all. Besides she didnt even look at my lower jaw. She blamed me for not reminding her to look at my lower jaw! It was the most humiliating, annoying approach I have ever witnessed! How can the patient be blamed with not reminding the part of treatment? How can a patient is yelled just because of asking for some explanation about the treatment? Why doesnt the assitant even tell to use the elastics? Why doesnt the orthodontist even look at the teeth at both upper and lower jaws?

I represent the minority of orthodontist patients over 40 in the Netherlands who have grown up in Germany. This is the best medical facility I’ve been to, and the first time I’m inclined to write a review about one because the place is exactly what I want from a dental clinic. The first impression of the place is already very positive: bright, fresh, and friendly location, and two ladies at the reception greet me with kind smiles on their faces and kick off my stay. I’d write that I’m happy about the free wifi during my stay in the patient’s room, but I never had to wait more than 4 minutes. The clinic is organized super efficiently. The quality of the treatment is excellent. My physician has a doctorate in his field and teaches at the University of Leuven which gives me a good feeling that he practices the state of the art in orthodontics. He has a whole team of friendly and competent assistants. It was truly impressive to see how fast my teeth started moving in the right direction already during the first weeks. After a bit more than a year now, I’m almost done with my treatment and am all praise. 5 stars easily.

Money, that's what it's all about here. Already allowed to experience 2 times unfortunately. A few years ago my splint broke, it was glued and I immediately indicated that it was glued too tight and it didn't feel right. "we really know what we are doing" was the answer. The day after I could go back because I had a huge gap in my teeth because of this fantastic knowledge. A brace was then placed for one day and because she was holding me back, I didn't have to pay for it (practice error). I still received a bill of 100 euros. A few years later (early this year) the splint keeps getting bored and I have had it removed. I got a night restraint as a replacement, I thought it was a great alternative, but I was afraid it would soon break because I grind my teeth. "2 in 1" was the answer so I assumed it was. There was some reimbursement from the insurance and I had to pay around 15 euros myself (total amount of 2 bills, 1 bill for the technical costs, 1 bill for placing or something). The bracket was broken within a month, I found this a bad thing and luckily the practice itself too. A new bracket was fitted and I was promised that I would only have to pay the technical costs. Months later I received a note from some vague company of no less than € 37.95 with the description "technical costs". I thought it was a very strange story on which I made several calls. Health insurer had never received this bill, the orthodontist practice had never sent the bill and the company that sent the bill knew nothing. It is very clear on the note that the letter FIRST went to the health care insurer, when I indicated that this had not happened with the administration of the practice I received the answer "yes are standard letters, we really will not adapt to everyone, much too much work "doggy reply! At my insistence, the bill has been credited and yet sent to the health insurance company which has now properly reimbursed the bill. However, the promise of paying only the technical costs is no longer there, because once again I have to pay 15 euros myself, exactly the same amount as last time. In my eyes, this is a scam and I do not recommend anyone to go to this practice because they fool you in which you yourself are in every possible way. Even when they make the mistakes themselves. Ridiculous!

Incredibly friendly staff. Clear communication about expensive braces. Recommended.

When I go there things are quick and I am well and quickly helped, the assistants behind the information desk are in most cases anything but happy, from this also my negative point.
