It’s a convenient store located right by the station, and I would say with generally better quality of items than the Albert Hein to Go in the station; however, it’s also more pricy.

It is about 20 meters away from Maastricht train station and is open from 7am till 10pm (great for a city where most shops close at 6pm!). There are currently only 2 Spar supermarkets in Maastricht and this is the newest one. I went to get one of their sandwich+smoothie combi deals and it was so fresh and tasty! They also have coffee to go for 1€, rather conveniently located to get something on the way to/from the train station, or for a time where other shops are closed.

There are many breakfast options, sausages, cheeses, salads, dairy products, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a cup of coffee for only one euro. Friendly service staff, highly recommended.

Very handy store. No large assortment but exactly what you need. Also nice fresh food and drinks from behind the counter. Recommended.
