Nationaal Videogame Museum

A proper arcade wrapped into a museum with tons of memorabilia. This is a great place to spend a few hours. Admission is reasonable considering it allows you to play all the games as many times as you want. The games begin with the mid/late 70s and progresses through the 80s and 90s and so on. As a fan of retro games from the 70s and 80s this place had some great games that worked well. The cabinets were in great shape, the controls worked well, and it was just awesome playing Burger Time (incredibly frustrating) and Tapper, among others. I particularly enjoyed the exhibit/period rooms from the 70s and 80s with couch or bed, console, t.v., hifi cabinet, etc. In addition, there are several keyboard consoles, e.g., Commodore 64 (if not it looked awfully close to it), hooked up to monitors. In addition to the above, there are many racing game cabinets, dance game cabinets, and some Japanese import cabinets. The only downside to this place is that it closes too early, even on Fridays. If this place was open till midnight on weekends and 10PM on weeknights, it would be icing on the cake. But this is a minor complaint. Overall, its a great place for the family. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing place! As a kid I used to have a dream to be locked up for a night in an arcade where each machine can be started by pressing the button and there is no any coins required. This museum does not work at nights, but anyway my dream came true there!

Toilet wasn't cleaned well/at all. With holes in the wall. The arcade itself thought was a lot of fun, with classic cabinets a plenty and quite a few imported cabinets as well.

This is a great place for some good fun with family and friends. Classic games, arcade games, xbox. My son had a blast. We will definitely be back with family and friends
