Kamphuis Roof boxes

Excellent shop, great products, vast assortment and very nice people! I went there to buy new bars and they kindly and professionally mounted them on my car at no extra cost! Highly recommended!

I ordered a towbar bike rack making assumptions it was exactly what i needed..and ordered with Kamphuis because they had great pricing. Unfortunately the rack i ordered wasn't what i needed but they kindly took the 'wrong' rack back, advised me of a suitable one, provided it.AND refunded me the difference in price between the 2. Great service!!

Today I received the Uebler F24 and tried it immediately, very easy to place on the towbar. A point of attention for Kamphuis Roof boxes is the poor communication to the customer.

Bought several times from Kamphuis; roof carriers, roof box, bicycle carrier for the caravan, but also loose parts. Always honest advice and the exchange option for used roof carriers is a great service (if bought from them, but that goes without saying). It is not a slick showroom with a dozen smooth sellers, but a store with a lot of choice and an enthusiastic owner, which means that you sometimes have to wait but that is rewarded with honest and expert advice!

AN UPDATE: Given Kamphuis' once again remarkably blunt response to this review ... And this is how the order & the NOT delivery really went: - Mo 25/07: made to order for 1188, - Euro! - Mo 25/07: immediately called if delivery was possible on Wed 27/07 before 12.00 due to departure holiday 27/07 & check in on time. Delivery would be possible. - Tue 26/07: received an email from Gregor Kamphuis that delivery was possible. (I think good service .......) - Wed 27/07: 12:00 no delivery - Wed 27/07: 1.22 pm I call Kamphuis, where is the suitcase? Then blunt response and phone is thrown on it. (yes and sorry .. it was idd a towbar box and not a roof box ...) - Wed 27/07: 1.26 pm: I call Kamphuis, but I don't answer - Wed 27/07: 1.30 pm: someone answers and gives me the telephone number of the carrier. (Ps. Screenshots call history are there) I get the carrier on the phone and says: Oops, we have loaded incorrectly, the truck cannot get to the center of the city. I propose: The street 50m from my house is a major road, possibly come there & unload there ?? And, by the way, a phone call before noon would have been nice too ... Carrier: no, that is not possible, but you can pick up the suitcase somewhere on the outskirts outside Eindhoven. Or we deliver it tomorrow (28/07 ...) Me: no, sorry, then I have been on vacation for a few weeks and there is a towbar suitcase on the sidewalk. I immediately canceled the further delivery with the carrier (it was now well after 2 p.m.). And also immediately sent an email to Kamphuis on Wed 27/07 that the order has been canceled. Response Kamphuis is an extremely blunt email that I have refused delivery !!! And that in order to receive my 1188, - Euro return I first have to transfer 50 Euro for return costs incurred ... I would love to put the screenshots of the email communication that follows online. The rudeness oozes, it's almost hilarious. If I can give 1 tip: order NOTHING at Kamphuis ... **** Just the rudest customer experience ever experienced by Kamphuis Roof boxes - see screenshot! This after the renunciation of the delivery appointment confirmed by email by Kamphuis and then pure scam by refusing to transfer the correct return amount after correctly following the return procedure within 1 day. This will be a case for legal aid.
