Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Beautiful Hotel! I am so glad we stayed here, room was very large. We have stayed at the Sheraton at the airport and it is so old, this hotel I will definitely be coming back too! I highly recommend it, the lady at the front desk was very nice, everything was clean and the details were great. Bed was super cozy and the bathroom was very big.

Pleasant stop along the way. Staff so courteous and helpful. Food was good quality. Would have preferred a room on the outside to get a view of the outside world, however it was comfortable and I managed to get a little rest before departing. All in all would recommend this hotel for comfort and location is so close to your airport departures.

COVID restrictions professionally implemented and still able to provide an excellent standard of service despite this. All the staff were superb. Room service provided best hotel breakfast I have had in any EU country during this pandemic. My only criticism during the current lockdown in the Netherlands is the high charge for the late checkout (1st two hours free) - considering the hotel is so big and so quiet I was disappointed with this, especially with the lack of facilities/seating available at the airport when spending several hours waiting for a flight.

Poor customer service in light of COVID with little to no follow up to help rearrange our event. It is a disappointment that the HQ words to not match their actions. The event was planned and paid in good faith for March 2020, then when all of the restrictions were put into place the hotel did not work with us to find a new date, stating that due to the cancellation policy they would take 90% of the deposit. No follow up from the hotel or reaching out to speak, even after we had said to postpone the date. Disappointing at the least and the lack of working with clients is simply amazing.

Conveniently located without the need to leave the airport is the perfect stay specially if you have to transit overnight at Schiphol. It is close to in airport stores. The room is modern and well maintained. Everything worked as expected.
