A building that is almost impossible to miss in Enkhuizen, a large imposing building from the 16th century, on the facade hangs a latch by Joost van den Vondel, there is also a cannon that was captured from Dunkirk hijackers. Also higher up on the facade the saying Candide et Constanter, which is translated as Fair and Steadfast.

Next to the town hall is another old prison ... from 1600 However, what an experience to go there. We were all impressed.

Beautiful building. Many large paintings, beautiful painted ceilings and a beautiful council chamber, just a museum.
