Yesterday I got off my braces. The tooth next to my large front teeth is not fully grown, and it had to be filled by the dentist. The dentist filled up the tooth and gave me the mirror. I looked at it but I saw that the tooth was filled very minimal, so that I had a large and a small gap on both sides. It is not finished properly and it has a crack. The tooth is very angular while on the other side the same tooth is larger and round at the bottom. I made it clear to the dentist that I am very dissatisfied. And if he could make this even better. He said I couldn't and I would keep the crevices forever. I wore braces for 2.5 years to solve this problem, which the dentist advised me at the time. But after 2.5 years I still have the same problem. What I expected it to be resolved. I went to him 2x yesterday to let him fix this problem before I get a splint. But he stuck to his position. And wouldn't listen to what I said. Then I went back to the Ortho to have a splint placed. I discussed the situation with my ortho and he saw that it was not well filled at all. The intention was to make about the same tooth as on the other side. He immediately saw the crack. He gave me reassurance and we discussed how we were going to tackle and solve this problem. I still got a splint and you can see this between the big crack. Every dentist can perform a six-monthly check-up. Most importantly, they can also solve such problems. Unfortunately, dentist van der Werff is unable to do this. I am going to transfer myself and have my tooth remade at a better dentist.
