VERY unreliable lawyer! I was allowed to receive an inheritance from Italy, as I do not speak the language, it seemed necessary to hire a lawyer who speaks the language and who would also go to Italy to sign the necessary papers. Joost could do all of this for me when I made the first appointment, he also responded very quickly and clearly about what was going to happen, it was a fairly easy thing he said. Reality was completely different; Joost wrote my name wrong up to 4 times, thought that my father was my husband (this while I visited his office and we explained the whole situation.) After that, the lawyer my aunt had from Italy was also, so to speak, the one who made everything go wrong. On the other hand, it was just Joost who did not keep me informed of the situation, did not send me back to the other lawyer for 2 weeks, so I received all kinds of messages, only after calling Joost he said he was ill (he had me totally not informed of this), at least to make a long story short, he himself said that he no longer wanted to take the case, it was a difficult case. I hired another lawyer who costs 2x less than him and this case was resolved within six months. I have had a really terrible experience with him, I don't even understand that he still has his license. He also came across as very arrogant towards the end, because he couldn't get the case resolved while my other lawyer got all this done!

Clear lawyer, with experienced specialty in often chaotic Italian scenes. Which for 'outsiders' are often difficult to comprehend .....
