I once bought the most expensive Philips matchline TV here, because I was looking for a good specialty store. Suddenly broken after 2 years. Waayen came to get TV that would go to the Philips repair in Nuth. Never got there. The TV was insured. While waiting for a new TV, I received a very unsafe Loewe TV with a blank high-voltage wiring. They refused a safe one. The new TV was a Polish Philips, of very poor quality because of the so-called "blooming" picture tube. Another same came out unacceptable as well. Waayen refused all service. So I called the CEO of Philips himself with a few good arguments. He provided me with a solid backlight LCD via Philips Eindhoven. May choose what I wanted. Philips is OK. So I will never come to any other specialist again at the company waayen. MediaMarkt, Coolblue or even bol.com do this better. And cheaper. That Philips LCD is still running 16 years later.
