Come here with my animals since childhood. First a canary and found injured animals. Later with our Boxers and also in between with our budgerigars, cockatiels and a guest tame rat. Bert is a very knowledgeable doctor and knows a lot about turtles and all kinds of terrarium animals. Our 1st boxer already had eye surgery for damage at the time, which other doctors only did later. In recent years Maaike has mainly been in consultation hours. A cheerful, direct and knowledgeable doctor. Bert helps out now and then. Our currently oldest boxer has had to come often in the last 2 years, due to a boisterous sister. She was very scared at first, but less and less lately. When there is something that cannot wait, we can always contact us immediately. Poor Maaike has regularly had to work overtime because of us. Unfortunately we come there too often. Fortunately no serious things, but mainly eyes, ear infections and every few weeks for a syringe against the itching of allergy. I was always allowed to think along (working in nursing myself) and often enjoyed stories from Bert and Maaike about separate operations (of course respecting privacy and only what is allowed), because I am very interested in that because I wanted to become a child . For us the best practice in Maastricht! While we know many practices from having volunteered for an animal ambulance several years ago. These injured animals, from swan to hedgehog and from feral cats to runaway dogs ... all received the same help needed for healing and not like some practices solely focused on pain relief. In the attached photos the dark puppy just went to sleep on the treatment table after a 1st introduction visit before 1st x titration / vaccination was necessary
