Magical experience! Love the cave and atmosphere in general. Helpful people, super well organized, lots of terrace restaurants.
A Christmas market that you can walk inside the caves with a standard temperature of 15-16 degrees Celsius. And the surroundings are beautiful.
Lovely place in the Netherlands. The market were ok, some are great others just fine. I liked the pub by the end of the cave. Go early otherwise you will have to wait. People with tickets should have immediate priority not that you still need to wait for people without tickets to buy and enter. Great Christmas experience. Usually Xmas in the Netherlands bis a bit sad but in this city you can feel the Xmas spirit.
The grottos are magnificent judge before Christmas. A true Christmas city, worthy of this title.
A definite attraction not to miss us the Christmas parade.
We spent 3 days camping in the area. We visited market 4 first and loved the miniatures and religious story, market 2 second - a bit disappointing, then onto market 1 - our fav for shopping and finishing with cave 3 and the sand sculptures and the christmas parade.
We had a lovely few days, we now feel relaxed and festive and will recommend to our friends. we were made welcome and everyone spoke great English!
