Friendly staff but the management/owner is unhelpful, unfriendly and unwelcoming. I recommend the hotel next door. Much nicer and better representation of the fine Dutch people.

Very nice. Went as coach party. Food good. Set meal. Only downside was the pillows were well past their best.

I don't give low ratings frivoluosly so feel somewhat reluctant to give such a poor rating. Why do it then? This hotel sits in a perfect location. Right on the edge of the centre so close but not so close it suffers from noise. So far so good. The staff are helpful and willing. If a little formal. That's sort of where it stops. The problem is that the hotel was probably great in the 70s but sort of stopped there and did not move on. The decor, the rules, even the breakfast. It's tired and in need of a revamp. It's understandable this is s family hotel so it's all investment but ... It's a shame. This could be a spectacular place.
